Life Update — February 2019

Heelllloooooooooo good folks, 𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕋𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕄𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙 ℙ𝕣𝕠𝕓𝕒𝕓𝕝𝕪 𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕡𝕡𝕖𝕕 𝕋𝕒𝕝𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕋𝕠 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝔹𝕖𝕔𝕒𝕦𝕤𝕖 𝕊𝕙𝕖 𝕄𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙𝕖𝕕 𝕎𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕊𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕀𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 ℙ𝕙𝕪𝕤𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝔸𝕟𝕕 𝕆𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕨𝕚𝕤𝕖 here, back at it with another unsolicited public diary entry.

This one's probably gonna get swept under the rug, I ain't gonna bother promoting on my social media because who the hell cares, amirite? Now, with the self-loathing outta the way, let's get on with some more of it.

First off, let's get the good things outta the way first. The brand new Pokemon was announced, and I'm very much stoked about it. There's a lot of skepticism, a lot of complaints from the community, but for me, hey, I just consider myself lucky that I still got to play a new Pokemon game in my 20s. I mean, I was 6 when I played my first Pokemon game, so basically through all of the variables, playing a Pokemon game has always been one of the better constants in my life. Sooo yeah, that's mighty swell.

Secondly, I'm going into my final year in uni, yes, one year left, ladies and gents. One of the many important questions that I have to bear in mind is, of course, where do I go after graduation?

Well, I've decided to go back to Jakarta. For many reasons, really, but I don't think I wanna be talking about them on here.

And the second question is, of course, what am I going to do? Work. What work? I dunno. In all honesty, I never thought I'd be alive up to this point, but... ((un))fortunately, I am, so, heyho. Probably a mundane nine-to-five job at a small-medium sized company, I really don't know. I hope it doesn't come to that, but we'll see.

Next, of course, I'm in Jakarta. Well, you see, the good things from this spring break has yet to come, so... I-I dunno what to write for this part. I'm joining a basketball club, but the first practice isn't until this Sunday. I'm going to travel to Semarang and Yogyakarta soon to meet my relatives, and later down the line Dimas is also going to be here, and we'll probably go to Bandung to meet Raga. My elementary friends talked about meeting up a few months ago, but... they've gone full cricket mode now. So yeah, until then, there's not much to tell.

Which is exactly why I am writing this post right now. Now, we go on to the ""bad"" part of the post. Again, due to my lack of planning, Jakarta has been whack so far. I didn't get the internship I applied for, I don't have any friends, so I've just been driving my family around.

Of course, like every other year that I came back home, I went on Tinder. It's like an annual thing for me. However, I feel like this year's going to be the last. First reason being, well, obviously, I'm gonna graduate next year ((hopefully, I pray to God)), and as I said, I will most likely stay in Jakarta for an extended amount of time, and, y'know, the whole shtick of me going on Tinder every vacation is to basically see whether or not I could manage to expand my social circle in a very short period of time without the aid of a friend. Soo yeah, that's the end of that tradition.

The second reason is simply because the people on there just don't reply. To me, at least. I mean I wouldn't reply to me either, but, still, y'know, whatever. Point is, there's little to no point in even getting matches anymore. There was one time someone Super Liked me, yes, she was the one that Super Liked, not the other way around. We matched, so naturally I tried starting a conversation. Short story short, she didn't reply.

Bruh moment.

Anyhoo, yeah I dunno. Ever since I went to Japan, there's just always something about this city that makes me... sad. Maybe it's the constantly gloomy weather? Or maybe it's the overbearing memories, both good and bad, that I've been trying to run away from, and would be willing to pay to forget? Or maybe it's just my room that's too... blue. Like, no, really, my room's literally so blue that you'd be surprised I don't watch football with the boys every matchday.

In any case, if you're reading this, I hope you're having a splendid day, week, month, year, and life. Bye now.
